Every shoot is individually planned around the imagery you want to create – from soft natural-light portraits and polished glamour to intimate boudoir and more provocative concepts.

The Location
Mirnov Studios is an on-location photography experience.
Rather than limiting every shoot to the same studio environment, we can choose a setting based on the photographs you actually want to create.
Depending on the concept, your session might take place in a private residence, an approved environment, or another location selected specifically for the shoot.
Franklin and the surrounding Williamson County area offer everything from modern interiors and historic architecture to fields, wooded environments, rural properties, and more understated natural settings.
The location becomes part of the photograph.

You don't need modeling experience to create photographs that look intentional. I'll guide you through posing, expression, movement, placement of hands, interaction with wardrobe, and how your body relates to the environment throughout the shoot.
Light and location are then used to shape the mood around you. Some photographs may feel quiet and natural. Others may feel dark, cinematic, glamorous, sensual, or provocative.
The goal isn't to force every person into the same Mirnov Studios formula. It's to create photographs that feel like you belong inside them.
On-Location Photography

Moving beyond a permanent studio gives us considerably more creative flexibility.
Instead of asking "what can we shoot in the studios?" we can start with:
"What do you want the photographs to look like?"
From there, we can determine the environment that makes the most sense.
A bright interior can create soft, natural photographs.
A darker room can produce something intimate and cinematic.
A rural Franklin property can create an entirely different visual language through open fields, wood, denim, boots, natural textures, and golden-hour light.
A modern interior can push the photographs toward contemporary glamour or editorial portraiture.
The environment is chosen because it contributes something to the final image.

– DO YOU HAVE A PHOTOGRAPHY STUDIO IN FRANKLIN?
Mirnov Studios no longer operates a permanent Franklin studio. Photography is now created on location, allowing each environment to be selected around the visual concept of the shoot.
– WHERE CAN MY SESSION TAKE PLACE?
Depending on the concept, sessions may be photographed in private residences, approved hotels or rental properties, rented studios or creative spaces, outdoor environments, or other suitable locations throughout Franklin and Middle Tennessee.
Location availability, privacy, photography policies, and any necessary permissions are considered during planning.
– DO I NEED MODELING EXPERIENCE?
No. Professional posing and expression direction are provided throughout the shoot.
– DO YOU PROVIDE HAIR AND MAKEUP?
Hair and makeup are not included as a standard Mirnov Studios service. Clients can arrive camera-ready or arrange professional beauty services independently if desired.
– WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
That depends entirely on the concept. Wardrobe might include dresses, lingerie, bodysuits, denim, swimwear, oversized shirts, jackets, editorial pieces, implied styling, or something completely different.
Wardrobe guidance is provided during planning.
– HOW MUCH DOES A SESSION COST?
Mirnov Studios does not use a single fixed package structure. Projects are individually quoted according to the concept, duration, location, production requirements, and final image needs.
