Mirnov Studios is the professional work of Dmitri Mirnov, creating sensual, glamour, boudoir, implied, artistic, and editorial portraiture throughout Nashville and Middle Tennessee.
Some sessions are soft and understated. Others are polished, provocative, dark, cinematic, or unapologetically sensual.
There is no predetermined formula.

Beyond Boudoir
Boudoir has been part of my work for years, but it has never completely defined it. My photography moves between sensual portraiture, glamour, boudoir, editorial imagery, implied nude, artistic nude, and more provocative concepts depending on the person and project in front of my camera.
Rather than trying to fit every shoot into a particular genre, I approach each session as its own visual concept. That might mean warm natural light in an intimate interior. Dark shadows and cinematic color. Polished glamour. Lingerie and traditional boudoir. Denim and golden-hour light. Minimal implied imagery. Or something considerably bolder. The style follows the idea.

As The Backdrop
Mirnov Studios operates on location, which gives us considerably more freedom in deciding how your photographs should look.
Depending on the concept, sessions can be created in private residences, approved hotels or rental properties, rented studios and creative spaces, outdoor environments, or other locations throughout Nashville and Middle Tennessee.
And Nashville gives us plenty to work with.
A modern downtown interior creates an entirely different atmosphere than a historic East Nashville home. A hotel room can become cinematic and intimate. Industrial architecture can push a shoot toward fashion and editorial imagery. Natural environments outside the city can create something warmer, softer, and more organic.
The location isn't simply where photographs happen.
It's part of the photograph.

DIRECTION WITHOUT THE FORMULA.
You don't need to know how to pose. You don't need modeling experience. And you don't need to arrive knowing exactly what to do in front of the camera.
I'll guide you through posing, expression, movement, body language, interaction with wardrobe, and how you relate to the environment throughout the shoot.
The direction changes according to the person and the photograph we're creating. The goal isn't to make everyone look the same. It's to create photographs that feel intentional, confident, and unmistakably yours.

Without being tied to a permanent studio, we can choose locations based on the concept rather than forcing the concept into one environment.
Sessions may be photographed throughout areas including:
Downtown Nashville • The Gulch • 12 South • East Nashville • Green Hills • Midtown • West End
as well as Franklin, Brentwood, Williamson County, and surrounding areas.
Locations are selected according to the desired aesthetic, privacy requirements, photography policies, permissions, availability, and production needs.
Travel outside Middle Tennessee is also available for select projects.

Every Mirnov Studios shoot is individually developed and quoted. Depending on the project, your session may include:

For clients specifically looking for boudoir photography in Nashville, that remains available through Mirnov Studios.
But boudoir doesn't have to mean one particular aesthetic.

No. My work includes sensual photography, glamour, editorial portraiture, boudoir, implied nude, artistic nude, creator content, and other individually developed concepts.
– DO YOU OFFER NUDE OR IMPLIED NUDE PHOTOGRAPHY?
Yes. Implied and artistic nude photography are available for appropriate adult sessions and are approached with the same planning, direction, privacy, and professionalism as other Mirnov Studios work.
– DO YOU PROVIDE HAIR AND MAKEUP?
Hair and makeup are not included as a standard Mirnov Studios service. Clients may arrive camera-ready or arrange professional beauty services independently.
– HOW MUCH DOES A SESSION COST?
Every project is individually quoted according to the concept, duration, location, production requirements, and final image needs.
