DMITRI MIRNOV
PHOTOGRAPHER. ARTIST. STORYTELLER.
I'm Dmitri Mirnov, the photographer behind Mirnov Studios. Mirnov Studios isn't a physical studio or a team of photographers. It's the name I've used for my photographic work – a body of imagery shaped over years of photographing people, personalities, models, artists, and ideas.

THE CAMERA
Photography has taken me through a wide range of projects over the years – from editorial portraiture and commercial work to glamour, boudoir, model collaborations, artistic imagery, and personal creative projects.
My work has been associated with publications and brands including PEOPLE, Forbes, FUSE Magazine, CMT, Gibson Guitars, and Prime Video, along with years of collaborations with professional models and creators.
Those experiences helped shape the way I photograph today. I'm drawn to expression, body language, interesting light, cinematic environments, feminine beauty, and photographs that have a little tension to them.
I want an image to make you stop scrolling. Look again. And maybe wonder what happened just before – or just after – the frame.
MY APPROACH
DIRECTION WITHOUT LOSING THE PERSON.
One of the things I hear most often is: "I don't know how to pose."
That's fine. That's my job. I direct posing, expression, movement, hands, body position, and interaction with the environment throughout a shoot.
But direction shouldn't mean turning every person into the same photograph. The best images happen when technical control and genuine personality meet somewhere in the middle. That's what I'm looking for.
THE ARCHIVE
Years behind the camera create considerably more photographs than any public portfolio could ever show. That's why I created the Mirnov Archive.
It's home to extended collections, complete photo sets, uncensored work, previously unpublished photographs, behind-the-scenes material, and a deeper look at the photography I've created over the years.
For photographers, there's also material exploring editing and the creative process.

Today, Mirnov Studios operates as my professional photography brand rather than a permanent physical location. I'm based in Middle Tennessee and create work throughout Nashville, Franklin, and the surrounding area, using locations selected around the concept we're creating.
I'm also available for select destination projects throughout the United States and internationally. Passport ready. Camera ready.
