The Short Version
Moving to Nashville in 2013, Dmitri Mirnov had one goal in mind; take over the music scene. As a drummer, recording and mix engineer, his influence on the modern Nashville sound would know no bounds. All was moving according to plan until 2018 when he purchased his first camera.
Immediately recognizing the parallels that photography shares with audio and falling in love with visual art, Dmitri shifted his focus to artist promotion and social media marketing. In less than 3 years he was recruited as a specialized product photographer by Gibson Brands, a globally recognized, historical guitar builder where he wrote the book on operating procedures for photographic standardization.
In early 2020, at the onset of the Coronavirus pandemic, workplace shutdowns gifted Dmitri a chance to expand his photographic portfolio into a realm where he felt true passion. Entering into an industry where sensuality marries seamlessly with photographic expression, Dmitri found his calling. With international publication credits from PEOPLE, Forbes and Fuse magazines, Dmitri Mirnov can be found shooting with top models from around the globe with his trusty pup sidekick, Nero, in tow.
