Couples boudoir is a more intimate approach to photographing two people together.
Sessions can range from romantic and understated to sensual, cinematic, and provocative, depending on the photographs you want to create and the boundaries you're both comfortable exploring.
My approach combines directed portraiture with natural interaction, using lighting, composition, movement, and body language to create photographs that feel intentional rather than overly posed.
Couples sessions are available on a limited basis throughout Nashville, Franklin, and Middle Tennessee.
WHAT CAN A
Couples Session Look Like?
There isn't one formula.
Your photographs might be soft and romantic, dark and cinematic, playful and suggestive, or considerably more sensual.
Before the shoot, we'll discuss the imagery you're interested in creating, wardrobe, location, and the overall level of intimacy you're both comfortable with.
During the session, I'll provide direction with posing, expression, movement, and interaction so neither of you needs previous modeling experience.
Your Session
Every couples shoot is individually planned around the concept.
Depending on the project, this may include:
• Creative consultation before the shoot
• Wardrobe and visual-direction guidance
• Professional posing and interaction direction
• Location selection based on concept
• Professional image selection and editing
• Signature Mirnov Studios retouching
• Private delivery of the finished photographs
Sessions may take place in private interiors, rental studios, outdoor environments, or other approved locations throughout Nashville and Middle Tennessee.
Your Comfort & Boundaries
Trust and communication are especially important when creating intimate photographs with two people.
Before the session, we'll establish the direction of the shoot and discuss what each person is comfortable creating.
You determine the boundaries.
My role is to handle the photography – lighting, posing, composition, expression, and visual direction – while creating photographs that reflect the chemistry between you.

– DO WE NEED MODELING EXPERIENCE?
No. I'll provide direction throughout the shoot with posing, expression, movement, and interaction.
– HOW INTIMATE DOES THE SESSION HAVE TO BE?
That's entirely up to you. Couples boudoir can range from romantic portraiture to much more sensual imagery. We'll establish the boundaries and visual direction beforehand.
– WHERE DOES THE SESSION TAKE PLACE?
The location is selected around the concept and may include a private interior, rental studio, outdoor setting or another approved location.
– WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?
Wardrobe depends on the concept. I'll provide recommendations based on the style of photographs we're creating.
– HOW MUCH DOES A COUPLES SESSION COST?
Couples sessions are individually quoted based on the concept, duration, location, production requirements, and final image needs.
